Re: What experience did you have when you got on training?

Glad to be posting here following a wait on the reserve list before being offered a place at Glasgow. My route is a bit unconventional and I’ll be 31 when I start: Left school at 16 with no higher qualifications, worked in call centres/administration for 2 years while doing a NC in administration. T...

Re: Let's talk about money

Yeah I think a lot of people think that because I did too initially! I live in Ayrshire and was employed in Glasgow for the duration of the course. You either went to Dundee or Stirling for teaching a few days at the end of each month. It was a really good course! The majority of caaps I know are no...

I completed the former. Fees are paid by NES and you are paid a Band 6 salary for the duration of the course. You are then ...

Advice about academic reference

I’m having trouble deciding on my academic reference for the application this year. I graduated from undergrad in 2013, had a good relationship with my dissertation supervisor and they always give me a glowing reference when asked. Got an overall first and a first in my dissertation too. I graduated...

Only applying to one course centre

I just wanted to ask people's thoughts on this. I'm thinking of only applying to one centre because I cannot move and would only be able to travel to one university (I'm in Scotland). Would this look bad on an application? Thanks.

Hi im just wondering if any Clinical Associates in Applied Psychology (CAAPs) in Scotland have managed to get BABCP accredited after graduating from either the MSc Psychological Therapy in Primary Care or MSc Applied Psychology for Children and Young People courses? I'm just wondering what other job...
