Eating Disorders Service, North East London Foundation NHS Trust
Part-time Honorary Assistant Psychologist Post.

We require a conscientious, reliable psychology graduate with excellent communication skills and an interest in eating disorders for 2-3 days a week to work in a busy Community Eating Disorder Service based in Dagenham, Essex.

The role involves supporting research and audit, co-facilitating therapy groups, supporting clients with in-vivo eating and supporting clients using guided self help (computerised CBT). The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, flexibility alongside boundless enthusiasm for learning more about this complex area. The assistant will be supervised for 1 hour per week by a Clinical Psychologist who works part time on a London clinical psychology training course.

The service offers excellent CPD opportunities and we organise an annual conference on eating disorders. We are passionate about offering the best possible care to our service users and we are at the forefront of developments in treatment.

A DBS check is required and we would ask for at least a 6 month commitment.

Please email Lucy Serpell, Clinical Lead/Clinical Psychologist at lucy.serpell@nelft.nhs.uk with a copy of your CV by 4th March.
There's no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes. Billy Connolly.
