The Keys Group, are currently one of the largest and most innovative providers of education and residential care for children within the UK. Assistant Psychologists 3.7 WTE (£16-19k, pro rata for part-time)

We also seek psychology graduates with an upper second or first class psychology degree/completed conversion course/masters degree for roles as Assistant Psychologists within Keys.

In terms of geography, the main clusters of residential homes are in the north west of England (in Lancashire and around Warrington, Manchester, Leeds and south Yorkshire), in the west (around Shrewsbury), in south Wales and the south west (around Taunton), in the east (around Peterborough) and in south Buckinghamshire/Berkshire, with a few homes in north and mid Wales, the north east (around Newcastle), London and the east Midlands.

Please do pass on the information if you know anybody that might be interested in any of the posts.

The CP posts could be cut up however we feel best meets the need, so you could apply wanting one day per week, or several days or full-time. We would encourage newly qualified or soon-to-qualify applicants, as there is plenty of support and supervision available.

The AP posts will be located based upon where there is need, and where we have CP posts to supervise them, with the main centres being listed above. We would particularly encourage applicants who wish to work part-time.

The therapist posts are suitable for anyone with BACP or UKCP or BABCP registration at a level that indicates sufficient skill to work autonomously. This could include people with qualifications in other clinical groups such as CAMHS nursing, or a social work registration with additional therapy training, or from an IAPT background.

The residential care worker posts and education support posts are ideal as a "first step on the ladder" experience for psychology graduates, as there is scope to take a particular interest in the formulation and outcome measurement process and you can link up with our psychology team as it develops. There is also an alternative career path leading to becoming a registered home manager, which is a good job option in its own right.

We are still looking for staff of all the above grades and roles, particularly in the East (Leicester to Norwich), Shrewsbury, and in the south west (South Wales and Taunton) so please do get in touch if you are interested and either local or willing to relocate.

This is a great opportunity for those at the start of their careers and Keys seemed focus on helping new graduates gain this experience with them. Well worth applying for
