Assistant Psychologist vacancies - now closed

The Keys Group are currently one of the largest and most innovative providers of education and residential care for children within the UK. We have a range of full or part-time vacancies for assistant psychologists to join our staff across our national portfolio of residential children’s homes and related services. In addition we have a number of vacancies company-wide within our residential and education provisions.

Assistant Psychologists 3.0 WTE (£18-19k, pro rata for part-time)

We have vacancies for assistant psychologists within Keys Group as part of a growing team who are rolling out our model of psychological assessment, consultation and outcome measurement to children's homes in the UK.

The current vacancies are:

full-time in Shrewsbury area (permanent)
full or part-time in Taunton (permanent)
full or part time in south/mid Wales
full or part time in chesterfield area

We are looking for psychology graduates with an upper second or first class psychology degree/completed conversion course/masters degree for roles as Assistant Psychologists within Keys.

The role will involve administering and scoring psychometric assessments, summarising social services records, compiling life story materials, contributing to outcome measurement, resources and research. You must be organised, meticulous and enthusiastic, with some experience working with children and families.

We have lots of other therapy and psychology staff in place, and our Clinical Psychology service is growing too. The psychology team is a very well regarded and valued part of our service, and you will be making a real difference to the lives of the young people who need you most. Come and join the team!

We also have vacancies for Registered Home Managers, Assistant Home Managers, Senior Residential Workers, Residential Care Workers, Qualified Teachers, Tutors and Education Support Staff across the UK. If you are doing a psychology degree or have recently graduated or are about to graduate, this could be an ideal first step into relevant employment!Experience of working with young people with challenging behaviours is desirable but not essential however you must be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
