Re: IAPT References for the DClinPsy

I had this problem. It was service policy, I spoke with HR and they made an exception for my line manager to provide a reference. Might be worth contacting your HR department and explaining the situation.

Re: UCL PWP applications

Hi there Jason712, Do you happen to know how many training places Bromley are offering this year? I think I heard only three this year. I think that's due to the pandemic and working from home. Thank you! Such an unusual time. Has the service said roughly how long they will be working from home for...

Re: UCL PWP applications

Hi all, reading a lot of anxiety here which is understandable. I don't know the exact status of what's going on but I believe I was told in the seniors meeting that there has been a delay but not a big one, but that it has made it a little slower this year. There was an interview date but I can't r...

My reflections from this years application

First off, this may be the wrong place to post this so if so I apologise in advance trust it will be moved to the right location. I also want to thank the people on this forum. Particularly Miriam who has offered much-needed advice both professionally and personally to me over the years. This year w...

Re: HI training sites/uni

My understanding is that it's based on the time of year you apply rather than the service. My service recruit for both unis. Royal Holloway is March and Kings is September.

Re: Ucl PWP 2019

Every NHS job I've ever had took a few weeks to process. Plus some services are still interviewing next week I imagine once that's all done and they've selected the candidates UCL will update the portal. Congrats all and good luck to those interviewing next week.

Re: Ucl PWP 2019

Can see a lot of anxieties from those who have been offered a place. Don't worry, they won't change their minds and nothing is wrong. I had to wait 2-3 weeks before I heard anything. It takes time.

Also, anyone interview at Bromley today or have one on Monday? We're taking on 5 trainees this year.

Re: DCLIN 2019 Edinburgh second interview

I'm really sorry to hear about this horrendous journey Jason. If it's any consolation, your ability to endure such a gruelling and testing experience demonstrates an awful lot about your emotional resilience and ability to bounce back from adverse experiences. Keep going; the fact that you were inv...

Re: DCLIN 2019 Edinburgh second interview

Hi Siogamue and PinkFreud19. Sorry for the late reply. I had to take a few days to reflect on this. While I am disappointed I am still proud to have gotten as far as I did considering the number of people who applied to Edinburgh. I feel I can do this and the rejection isn't so much the issue as is ...

I’m hoping different services send out invites on different days! That or I’ve definitely been unsuccessful this year! Fingers crossed!
Different services do email on different days. I recall my friend was invited for Camden two days before I was invited for Bromley. Best of luck!
