Re: How much can trainees afford in rent?

Thank you olive: I may not have worded myself well - I wanted to know if Β£600 is too large a chunk to lose from a trainees 1st year salary, rather than if it is possible to get a property for that price. I currently rent near London but shared with my partner, so I understand the difficulty there! T...

How much can trainees afford in rent?

Please feel free to re-allocate if this isn't in the appropriate area of the forum, but I was hoping someone could tell me roughly how much rent they paid per month as a first year? I'm currently looking at flats to live on my own during training, and I am hoping that Β£600 will be affordable on a tr...

Re: What experience did you have when you got on training?

Hi all, very happy to share my experience and say I am finally on training :). I am starting training at the age of 26, and it has taken me 3 applications and 1 interview to get to this point. Education: - MSci Psychology and Psychological Practice, First - No postgraduate education Paid Experience:...

Re: Bath 2018

Great idea, it'd be lovely to know who else is on the course 😊. I'll be accepting my offer when I get a chance to send over the paperwork tomorrow, I am so happy to finally have it in writing, I've been worrying that I just imagined an offer πŸ˜‚. I think a Facebook group would be great - I'm happy to ...

Re: Birmingham Written Test

I completely overlooked the fact it was a 40 minute test and assumed I had an hour, I didn't even look at the timer until it was too late, so I've only answered 2 questions out of 4. Nevermind!!

Do referees receive a reminder from clearing house?

Hi all :). I've submitted my application and it says that one of my references hasn't even been started, and the other is started but incomplete. I was wondering whether clearing house sends reminders about references or whether I need to remind them myself? Obviously I don't want to nag, but I don'...

Acceptable to chase academic reference to new institution?

Hi all, My previous academic referee gave me an amazing reference last year, and obviously I'm eager to request for her to act as my referee again. However, after a couple of unreturned emails I've learnt she is now at a university in Norway. Is it acceptable to chase her at her new institution and ...

Is anyone able to give me any update on the Plymouth reserve list? It doesn't feel like there's been much discussion about Plymouth at all! :)

Re: course shortlisting dates 2017

I'd interpret that to mean that your application and everything you do at interview will assess those domains. I may be mistaken, but I think it would be incredibly unfair to dismiss candidates for contacting courses - think of those who have operations booked which may impact on their ability to at...
