Re: University of Surrey 2020 Entry: Online Q&A

I have a question re: having a driving license as a requirement for the doctorate. I wish to apply for the Clinical Psychology Doctorate at Surrey (Deadline October 31st 2019, to start in 2020), and am currently in the process of taking driving lessons. I am wondering if a driving lesson is essentia...

Issues/difficulties re: ASD/ADHD diagnosis in adults

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone here could provide any insight into the difficulties surrounding the assessment and diagnosis of ASD and ADHD, particularly in adults. For example, can it be difficult to track early developmental history in adults? Would clinicians spend as much time trying to...

Re: UCL Trainee PWP application for September 2017 start

I'm out of the country from the 2nd - 11th of July.. I really expected to at least have an interview date by now (if successful) so I could plan accordingly.

Here's to hoping for an interview on the 12th, 13th or 14th of July. :D

Can someone read my personal statement?

Hi :)

I was wondering if anyone here would be so kind as to provide feedback on my personal statement for the low intensity PGCert.

Thank you!

Low Intensity Personal Statement

Hi everyone, I'm planning to apply for the September intake of trainee PWPs at UCL. I was looking at the person spec and there appears to be quite a lot of specifications. I'm guessing that the character limit won't be high enough to touch on all of the specifications in any real detail (can't apply...

PWP training for the counselling doctorate?

Hi. I was wondering if anyone here could give me a some insight (or direct me to some sources) into being accepted on to the counselling doctorate and how competitive it is. What kind of experience do people who get accepted tend to have? Would it be worth training as a PWP to get some counselling e...

Some advice

Hi guys. It's recently dawned on me that gaining an AP post any time soon is an unlikely prospect considering my background. I'd much rather dive head first into any job that will provide me with some relevant experience. However, all I seem to see are potential AP and Learning Support Assistant pos...

Masters degrees for the clinical doctorate

Hi everyone. I recently stumbled across this forum and just want to say it has been extremely helpful for me, so thanks for putting it together! However, I was wondering (and apologies in advance if this thread has been made a trillion times before) if there are any masters degrees that are favoured...
