Lingua, that is heart-breaking. There are no words... I'm so sorry. I'm glad you were able to be there at the end.

Lingua I'm so sorry. Sending as much warmth, high hopes and love as I can over the internet. Try not to blame yourself if the worst does happen, it's not like you could have predicted or desired it. Hoping you travel safely and your luggage finds you. x

Re: Is it worth continuing feeling disheartened

Agree with everything workingmama said, couldn't possibly put it better myself. If anything it says great things about you that you were able to pass despite all that. Sounds like you need to give yourself a chance to pause, breathe, and re-group, and perhaps not putting yourself through a dissertat...

Re: 5 things I'm thinking today. . .

Hang in there firegal! 1. Had an amazing birthday yesterday, better than I expected 2. Really struggling to prioritise tasks both within and outside HI training... I know what needs to be done but for some reason I am struggling to apply all my usual techniques. Also my living environment is so much...

You're welcome :) I'm enjoying it but it's a challenge because the pace is super fast. Happy to answer any questions via pm if that would be useful.

Re: Trainee High Intensity Therapist Role

There are usually two cohorts; March & October. I'm in the October cohort, I think our applications opened May/June and interview was in July. You need to apply through King's, unless they've changed since this time last year. http://www.central-london-cbt.com/courses/post-graduate-diploma-in-cognit...

Redpanda, glad to hear you are feeling better. Geishawife I'm glad to hear she has been able to go home at least. 1. I have so much work to do but I am forcing myself to rest for the first time in a while and I can feel my body and mental health thanking me for it 2. It was so good to do the People'...

Re: 5 things I'm thinking today. . .

My fellow Assistant colleague is awfully confident and taunts me by saying he'll be successful his first time applying as he's so lucky and walked into his Assistant job with no experience - when it's unlikely I will be successful this time (second attempt). It sounds like the kind of hubris that c...

Re: Ieso Digital Health - Online CBT

The only one I have worked with directly in terms of using and accessing as a therapist to work with clients is SilverCloud, but we also refer clients to Big White Wall or IESO. I don't know any others, but I think Better Help are becoming big at the moment. Do you have any specific questions I coul...
