Re: Surrey 2017!

Hi again all, I am planning to be there on 4th July. Really looking forward to meeting everyone and getting a bit more information about what to expect in September too! Tasha236 - I did my undergrad degree at Surrey and so have lived in Guildford, and am still living in the Surrey area. Happy to an...

Re: Surrey 2017!

Hello everyone :)

Very excited to say I will be joining you at Surrey in September. It still hasn't quite sunk in for me either! I'm 23 and currently live in Reigate, but not sure whether I'll stick around here or move to Guildford!

Looking forward to meeting you all :)

Re: The Great Big Progress Thread for 2017 entry DClinPsy

I caved and contacted Surrey in the end earlydaze. It turns out they did send all the emails out on Monday but not all of them went through! So I'd recommend giving them a call; they were really lovely about it. :) Best of luck!

Has anybody else still not heard from Surrey? I'm assuming the worst at this point but it's stressful not to know the outcome for sure!

Re: PG Certificate Low Intensity CBT Interview

I think it's natural to feel nervous about this. I was in a similar situation to you a few months ago; I'd already been accepted for the post and I hadn't been told that I would need to have a separate interview with the university - so to say I was shocked when I received an email from them asking ...

Re: Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner and Experie

Hi, I have only just become a Trainee PWP myself, so I'm not sure I would feel comfortable in telling you whether you have enough experience yet or not. However, I am happy to share the main experiences that I had before getting the post: - BSc (Hons) Psychology (1st), although I hadn't yet complete...

Re: DClinPsy 2017

I had heard rumours about this happening, so although I'm not surprised, I had hoped they would have reached a definitive decision before applications opened!

Re: Shortlisting Updates

Hello,

Bit of a long-shot but was wondering if anyone who sat the assessments for the forensic AP post with NELFT has heard anything back yet? Not sure if they are notifying us either way or only informing successful candidates.

Many thanks! :)

Post moved from NHS Jobs

Hello, Apologies if this has been asked previously (I did use the search function but may have missed it!), but I was wondering if anyone had had any experiences of/knew about the following: I recently applied for an Assistant Psychologist position via the NHS Jobs website. I have now noticed that i...

Re: The Great Big Progress Thread for 2016

I thought I would wait until all of mine were in. First time applicant, and still an undergraduate, so was absolutely not surprised to receive: UEA Surrey (that one did hurt a bit!) Southampton However, I was utterly shocked (and delighted!) to receive: Salomons!! :D Ironically, I came across an art...
