After supervision I decided I didn't really need a twitter page. Someone on one of the courses was actually severly disciplined for...

Really looking forward to it but at the same time I'm absolutely terrified!

Good luck with the house hunting - hope you find somewhere great. If there's anything I can help with pm me.

Looking forward to meeting you in October :D

Hi strlass Good to hear from someone who got on to glasgow as I have also not heard of anyone else who got on! I already live in glasgow but most people who relocated for the course in previous years have tended to go for the south side of glasgow, e.g. shawlands. Which nhs board will you be in? Lil...

Hi Ashleigh, Since you're in glasgow I figured out where that interview is! I had one there last year and the kinds of questions they asked were more to do with you as a person and how you would use the skills you have to work within that population. Also maybe read up on a few theories from undergr...

Sometimes I feel quite lucky to have another dimension to reflect on in my clinical work. I didn't mention it in my application because at the time I had been very aware of conversations going on about 'positive discrimination' and I had wanted to be selected solely based on my achievements. Looking...

Hmm this thread is starting to make me think that I will need 2 different names to be safe working in clinical psychology! I was going to take my married name after getting married in august for both work and home, but now I'm not so sure... I'm also wondering the same as Charlotte, what goes on you...

I'm very similar to a few of you guys as I'm getting married on 9th August! Finishing up end of July but will get paid some of August as I have a/l to take. Won't have much left over after wedding to spend on course prep but can hopefully treat myself when first pay comes in October :D Congrats Spon...

Vars, could it be that they are looking at the opt in form you sent in before the interview? I know I hadn't ticked all the specialties when I sent the form in but at interview I panicked and ended up ticking them all!

Congratulations everyone!!! Jen don't lose heart the reserve lists on both courses do move quite a bit every year, still time for that offer to come through. Really hoping it does, you deserve it after all the wait! Good luck. Can't believe no one else has posted about getting on to glasgow, no one ...
