Reflective application help for AP / RA positions

Hi, I was hoping for some advice on applying for AP / RA jobs. From searching this site I recognise it's important to be reflective in applications, however, I was wondering if anyone could give any tips on this? I have used reflective cycles and I'm keeping a reflective journal, however, I'm not su...

Re: Stats module grade

Thank you all so much! I'm feeling much better, I think it's so easy to panic that the doctorate is so competitive that anything other than perfect will be a barrier but in reality, I know that's not the case. I really appreciate you guys taking the time to reply, and it made me feel much more hopef...

Re: Stats module grade

Thank you so much!
I'm definitely an overthinker anyway and sometimes maybe put barriers in my own way. I think my goal for the next year is, like you said, cut myself some slack and enjoy the process a little more.

That's really reassuring to hear, and congrats on the interviews!
Thanks again

Stats module grade

Hi (Im really sorry if I have posted this in the wrong section! Please delete if this is the case) I had a question regarding module percentages and applying for the doctorate. I achieved a good first in my undergrad, and am just finishing up a conversion course and am on track for a distinction. Ho...

Re: Conversion course and AP jobs

Yeah, I'd assume that was the intention, even if they are rationing their words for the advert text. I've never known an advert that wouldn't consider a conversion as exactly equivalent. Sorry for the (very!) late reply, thank you for this! I think I’ve been overthinking a bit too much so appreciat...

Undergrad or similar qualification conferring GBC is the normal wording, and a conversion is fine.

Thank you for your reply!

Would you say it's worth applying to these positions if they just state "undergraduate degree" with the "or equivalent"?

Thanks

Conversion course and AP jobs

Hi, I hope this isn't a stupid question (although I have a feeling it is! ) I'm hoping to complete the MSc conversion course next year and am starting to think ahead. When looking at person specs for AP jobs, however, they all state "An undergraduate degree in psychology. Entitlement to gradua...

Converting from Mental health Nursing

Hi everyone, I am currently undertaking my BSc in Mental health nursing, and while I love what I'm doing I am starting to think about applying to a conversion MS after I graduate, in the hopes of eventually becoming a CP. I have been looking around at conversion courses and have found some require 6...
