Thanks Miriam, I think i'll just stick with my university supervisor. We had quite a good relationship and I feel he would give me a positive reference, I was just worried it wouldn't be "current enough". Thanks again.

I completed a service evaluation of failed discharges in my last service (did the data analysis, write up etc), would suffice as being an up to date academic reference? Other than that it will be my undergrad supervisor (5 years ago) as I lost touch with my MSc Supervisor. Any suggestions helpful. T...

I would definitely ring around or send a few emails - although it might feel embarrassing sometimes this can start some interesting conversations. I know a friend of mine have gotten a few psychology jobs this way. You might find that some private places or charity sectors don't refer to AP title so...

I would tend to agree some interesting case studies would help the person to "humanise" the service a bit more and understand better what your successes and challenges look like on the ground.

Yes I emailed them asking for clarification as to whether I am actually on a waitlist or whether this was a general statement and they replied that it was just a general statement they had sent to everyone.
