Re: Ucl PWP 2019

Yeah in the conditional offer email from the trust there were different forms to take along to the identity check, the DBS stuff and the OH forms. Once that’s all done plus the reference check, you’ll be given the unconditional contract by the trust. But seen as we are not starting till October I g...

Re: Ucl PWP 2019

I received my confirmation email today. Quick Q did your trust/organisation ask you to complete an application form as part of your preemployment checks? Yeah in the conditional offer email from the trust there were different forms to take along to the identity check, the DBS stuff and the OH forms...

Re: Ucl PWP 2019

Bebuwab - I've not been asked to do an application form but I guess there is still time. Normally there's an occupational health questionnaire as well! On the topic of start dates, UCL's clarification email suggested the start date for the course is actually 21st October, and then I guess it depend...

Re: Ucl PWP 2019

I got an email from the manager at the trust a few weeks back just to introduce herself and she gave me a rough start date. But it’s basically going to be the first week of October.

Have you completed all of your checks? I’m still eating on occupational health.

Re: Ucl PWP 2019

I haven't received anything lol Same. Not further phone calls, no emails... Nothing since I've confirmed. I really want to hand in my notice at work and I don't want to do so until I have a written confirmation from HR! I'm in Newham. Really? That’s surprising coz usually HR try to get the checks d...

Re: AP vs PWP

Hi I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice. I am currently a band 5 Assistant Psychologist in a specialist service. I applied to the DClinPsych this year and had an interview but I wasn't successful. I am thinking about my next steps as I would like a change (change of job, change of ci...

Re: Ucl PWP 2019

I am gutted - I had a 10 day holiday pre booked for November (booked it back in December '18, so way before I even applied for the post) but because we are not allowed leave until Dec - I now can't take up my place in September! UCL have said they won't allow me the time off. So I either have to ca...

2-3 weeks. Gosh that is a while. Did the UCL Portal change from ‘application under assessment’?

Re: Ucl PWP 2019

Does anyone know when the proposed start date is? Haven’t heard anything from HR yet, feel like I should be doing something! It seems like we just have to wait until HR contact us. Which is not great for people’s anxieties because that could be a while. But I know that the UCL application should ch...

Re: HI training - 2 full years with PWP qualification? Previous experience?

I've come across Trainee PWPs going straight to HI Training! And, newly qualified PWP's going straight onto HI Training. On both occasions due to the amount of experience and studying required for the course, many of them struggled through it! This has only happened at one NHS Trust I know of, I've...

Don’t worry! It’s the trust calling you not the uni so each trust will call at diff times!
