Re: How much free time as a final year Bsc undergrad?

I can't help thinking it is arrogant and defies the point of paying for tuition if you don't bother going to lectures or teaching! I graduated last year from a course that had about 200 students per year. I'd say there was rarely more than 50 students in each lecture. All our lectures were recorded...

Re: Doing a MRes?

It sounds like you have many of the same questions I did a year ago😂 You don’t need to live in Birmingham, I don’t, I drive in and it takes me 1-2 hours depending on traffic/time of day. Obviously not ideal but definitely doable. I’d say just under half of us commute in, most travel by train as the ...

Re: Doing a MRes?

Hey, I’m currently doing the MRes at Birmingham so would be happy to answer any specific questions you have! :) I’ve come straight from undergrad but we have a mix of ages in our cohort, so if you feel like it’s something you want to come back to in the future that’s definitely a common thing to do....

Re: Summer psychology work (and has anyone come across "NeuroSupport Services"?)

Thanks everyone
The tax implications were what was putting me off too, but I thought if I got a few people speaking in favour of the company I might give it the benefit of the doubt.
I will avoid!

Summer psychology work (and has anyone come across "NeuroSupport Services"?)

Hi everyone, I have just finished studying for my BSc and have just found out I have a place on an MRes at Birmingham Uni starting at the end of September. I've been trying to find clinically relevant paid experience to keep me busy over this summer, and have come across a company called NeuroSuppor...

Masters in the Netherlands

Hi, I'm just coming to the end of my final year studying BSc psychology. I am interested in doing the MSc Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Leiden next year. Just wondering if there is anyone on here who has done this program or something similar? I'm finding it very confusing because th...

Thank You Helen! That is so so useful! Will definitely consider applying, the cost seems the only downside to me

Re: What is the view on online/distance learning masters?

Hi Ellis I am just completing the kcl masters. Can’t answer as to how it would be regarded but I have thoroughly enjoyed it and learned a lot. Happy to answer any specific questions if you want! Hey, I’m also interested in the kcl masters. Can I ask what the workload is like? So how long did it tak...
