Re: 2020 Clinical Doctorate Application Progress Thread

Hi It's my first time applying as a "trial run" as others said! Holloway IOPPN Oxford UCL It's looking like it wasn't meant to be this year! We will see :) Come on then Oxford put me out of my misery 😂 On the positive side at least I will have certainty over what I'm doing the coming year if they s...

Re: Can you get onto the doctorate if you're bad at stats?

I agree with the above replies, that it is necessary to become competent at stats to complete the doctorate and to fulfil the research requirements of the role. However if you're asking if it is possible to get on the doctorate when you are at a stage where you don't feel you are confident and compe...

Re: Courses with lower clinical experience thresholds

Thanks for the suggestion, I'd missed that one in my list actually.

Just checked and they need one year min. unfortunately though! For this intake anyway. Always one to consider for next year if need be :)

Re: Courses with lower clinical experience thresholds

I've emailed two different courses to clarify their requirements and one said they calculate the experience up to the date of application and the other said it was to the point of entry next year. Does anyone know if one of these is the standard or if I'll need to read the exact...

I have done a lot of reading about the diff...
