Re: 2013 interview experience (negative feedback)
Hey windwhisperer I feel really quite angry on behalf of you for that feedback! If like you say, that was the main feedback I think it is pretty inappropriate and rude. It sounds like you didn't agree with it and it has affected your confidence which is horrible. I'm all for dressing appropriately b...

Re: IAPT: High Intensity Trainee Interviews
Hey
I had an interview recently, was really short notice but I was successful. Have you heard yet? I thought my interview was really good but quite stressful!

Re: OCD at step 2
Hi there We work with OCD a step 2 in our IAPT service. Obviously this decision is made on a case by case basis depending on severity of presentation / duration etc. I have had some good successes with milder presentations where psychoeducation around thought-action fusion and behavioural interventi...

Re: Progress thread for Clinical Psychology applications 201
Maybe no letter is a good thing and they sent the offers seperately? Noone has posted a blue yet. So fingers crossed! It's annoying about the clearing house if it isn't updated, especially if your meant to check it if your on reserve..

Re: Progress thread for Clinical Psychology applications 201
Post just arrived. Final results: Sheffield > Sheffield Manchester Leeds > Leeds Shrops & Staffs > Shrops & Staffs Ouch. There was a little feedback in the letter, but I'm not sure whether 'self-contained' was a compliment or not... I'm really sorry catbells, this is a cruel process xx

Re: One to one work before a group
Hi Laura86 Thanks for you reply, I agree that 1:1 can really help someone get to a group and vice versa. I guess another issue I have come across is working with a client 1:1 and then their partner attending a group. This threw up lots of issues for me around the knowledge i had about the client, wh...
