Re: Leicester Shortlisting 2017

I'm just about to log in to do the SJT. The initial screen says I will be asked for my CHPCCP application short ID number. Does anyone know where I can get hold if this? I can't find it amongst my login page for the CHPCCP.

Re: Leicester Shortlisting 2017

So does anyone know if there any particular tests available online that could be useful to practice on for these tests?
Is it general verbal reasoning and numerical reasoning tests you need to search for, or specific ones like last year?

Re: Applying for 2015

I will be presenting some research into staff training in 2 weeks time. Any advice if I should include it in the dissemination section or not. Is it wrong to have a future looking reference, even though the date would have passed by the time it gets read?

Re: Applying for 2015

Bit of a predicament for me here, as I was planning on applying for the UEL course, but my degree specifically does not come in high medium or low. The grading system from my University has no way of being translated into a percentage. It's simply a 2.1 I've been told. With the uncertainty, I think ...

Re: I got an interview as an assistant psychologist. Please

Actually, I think it’s a legitimate point to raise. Both the questions asked on this thread are borderline in terms of our guidance not to solicit questions or specific responses to questions for interviews. In such circumstances I think it is perfectly appropriate to direct people to existing reso...

Re: I got an interview as an assistant psychologist. Please

I worry that what you ask borders on wanting somebody else's answer to the interview questions, that won't really help. I think you will find it helpful to review the antecedent behaviour consequence model and think about implementing it in supporting people. Think about the challenges involved wit...

Re: I got an interview as an assistant psychologist. Please

Hello I did not wish to open a new topic as my query is for a similiar post, but I did have some questions I hoped anyone with experience would help to to clarify. When working with people with LD and who may also have Autism in the community. What kind of issues can you face when dealing and engagi...

Re: NHS reforms and the implications for clinical psychologi

At present, on seeing a new client we must complete at least 3-4 hours worth of paperwork which really eats into clinical time. Much of this is related to PBR as it is picked up the quality assurance audit, and if we perform poorly on that we don't meet standards that fall under PBR. Things we have...

Re: New Clinical Doctorate Applications 2012-2013.

I'm just wondering, am I the only one with an application that is still pending release (even though all documents have been given) ?

Re: 1st NHS RA Interview

Hey Guys, saw this thread and didnt want to start a new one as my situation is similar to el05. One thing I wanted to find out from someone with experience is specifically recruitment and how it looks in a NHS setting (within mental health) How can one approach recruitment within services. What fact...
