Re: 5 things I'm thinking today. . .
1. Thesis feels like wading through mud at the moment.
2. Why did I think drawing on Foucauldian ideas was sensible?
3. Looking forward to dinner and a catch up with some friends tomorrow
I'm not sure I'm capable of forming more thoughts than that today. Two thoughts free to a good home!

Re: Ethical issues regarding capacity
Hi MindfulPsych One of the key principles of the Mental Capacity Act is to assume that a person has capacity unless there is evidence to 'prove' otherwise. If you do think that some of the people you might be inviting to take part in the research may lack capacity to consent to taking part, there is...

I've been having fun with this on Facebook today and thought I would share it here to see what people come up with.

Re: UEL 2014/5
Hi moony I can't speak for last year, but in 2013 they let us know by letter. Sorry if that's not the answer you were hoping for. It's possible they might have changed this though. I know that in 2013 the clearing house also updated outcomes fairly quickly, so that might be a possible way of finding...

Re: Digital recorder recommendations
I use this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Olympus-VN-712PC-Recorder-2GB-Battery/dp/B006YBA054/ref=sr_1_1?s=officeproduct&ie=UTF8&qid=1427198472&sr=1-1&keywords=Olympus+VN-712PC+Voice+Recorder Though it didn't cost me anywhere near as much as that when I bought it last year. Hopefully t...

Re: Clinical Applications of Psychology at Warwick 2015
Hi Kelly Congratulations on your place! I'm afraid I don't know anything about the Masters course, but I think it has been discussed on the forum before - a quick search might give you some more information! I did go to Warwick for my undergrad though, so thought I'd say something about possible pla...
