STAXI-2 Scoring
Hey all, Does anyone have access to the STAXI-2 manual please? I have a scoring query. On the response sheets, it says to sum specific items to obtain particular subscale total scores. Can I just double check whether any of the items are reverse scored please? It doesn't appear they are BUT I don't ...

Re: Eternal Gratitude for Articles
Thank you Bex!
Sure Ben, the age and some of the random Journals is an issue. My uni could attempt to source some but at £2 a pop I'm keen to try other avenues first.
Any more for any more?

Eternal Gratitude for Articles
Hi all, I really need to get my hands on the follow articles. I appreciate the list is a little long but it would cost me a small fortune (which I don't have) to obtain them by alternative means. A mystery prize and eternal gratitude to the person who gets the most :D Thank you so much for your help...

Hey,
Not sure if you know but these are not 'Forensic Psychology Clinical Doctorate' courses. They are Doctorates in Forensic Psychology only.

Re: standard NHS annual leave??
I must admit, I don't know the ins and outs of what being a Foundation Trust involves but my understanding is that the Trust then has an awful lot more flexibility when setting condiditons such as those mentioned above. Likewise, it seems to be easier for them to re-band professions. I believe this ...

Re: Manchester 2012
I don't live in Manchester but I spend quite a bit of time there because friends live there and I live near. The nicer areas tend to be in the south I would say (e.g. Didsbury) but obviously places here tend to be a little more expensive. You'll also have to travel further to get into the centre. I ...

Re: BPS membership
I've just had a thought...
I'm currently paying full whack for my BPS subscription but when I start training in Oct will I be eligible for a student discount? I can't remember whether that only applies for undergraduates (and the 3 years post undergrad).

Re: When to stop working prior to training?
Nice to see I'm not the only one trying to figure out what's best in this respect! I have about 15 days of AL left to take but wouldn't be able to afford not to work for a month so I'm trying to figure out whether it's feasible for me to finish my contract at the end of Sept but not actually be in w...

Hey there,
Good to see someone eventually replied to this thread, I was beginning to think it would be a lonely 3 years LoL! Yeah it will be good to meet everyone, particularly as we start with a 4 week teaching block. We'll be spending a lot of time together!

Re: If I could turn back time...
I guess wanting to turn back time for a reason has resulted from regret/s for the present. Working your imagination is alright but accepting the truth would be much harder but the best thing to do to move-on. We'll anyways I also have something to change from the past of course.Something I regrette...

Re: Reserve Lists for places 2012
Manchester news - reserve list is moving, I just got offered a place. Stunned. Euphoric. Soon to be...DRUNK! (NB: Please drink responsibly) ;) That is great news, congratulations! I am still in the dark like most other manchester reserves. Out of interest, how did they contact you to inform you of ...
