Re: Trainee Graduate Mental Health Worker

Re: Problems with uploading documents

Re: So it turns out my interview skills kind of suck!

But I can't help but feel that I might just be wasting my time (and money!) to attend interviews then as I keep competing with others who do have that experience I don't have. I think it is worth remembering that at each interview you have you will be up against a completely different pool of candi...

Re: Substance Misuse Worker Interview

Hi Congrats on the interview. I was a substance misuse practitioner for a while before getting an AP post so hopefully I can be of some help. It would probably be good to familiarise yourself with the different types of interventions used: CBT, motivational interviewing, counselling, contingency man...

Have you worked with any clients within your various mental health roles who are also experiencing a substance misuse problem? If so then perhaps your application will be considered if you can demonstrate the skills you have gained and your knowledge of the challenges faced by this client group (one...

Hi BlueGems

That question is only for international self funded applicants, so if you tick the box to say no I am not willing to self fund, you do not need to answer it and the option to fill in this question will not come up.
