Hello everyone,

Apologies if this has been covered in another thread, but who did you contact in order to find out your position on the reserve list?

Thanks!

Re: Problems with uploading documents

Thanks Han10 for the advice, it is most appreciated. I am aware of the requirements for the clinical courses, and have looked at the alternative handbook to check which courses would consider current undergraduates. I have been doing my research for the last to 2.5 years and I am very aware of my li...

Re: Problems with uploading documents

Hi Serendipity5, I have completed the eligibility section and like you have said, it is most likely because I have not finished my degree yet. Do you have any idea as to how I should deal with this situation? As there must been undergraduates, before me, who have completed the application form? Rega...

Re: Problems with uploading documents

I was wondering whether anyone could help me. I have more or less finished my application form, except the document section. For some reason, I find that I do not have an 'upload file' button or a button that allows me to indicate that I have completed this section. Further information: I'm a final ...

To take or not to take?

Hey everyone,

I have recently been offered a weeks worth of experience with a cardiologist consultant. Although my aim is to go down the clinical psychology route, do you think this could be classed as 'relevant' experience?

Would you take this opportunity?

Regards

Re: Undergraduate Dissertation - Advice

Hello, Just wanted to offer my gratitude to those who replied yesterday. They were encouraging responses and definitely assisted with how I portrayed my plan to my potential supervisor today. It seems like it is okay to do a replication of a recent study but like the guys said, it is important to of...

Undergraduate Dissertation - Advice

Hello everyone, I recently found a journal which is related to my chosen topic that was conducted in Malaysia last year. In respect to the author and his journal, I believe that the research studies findings are somewhat questionable and hence, I would like to replicate his study in the UK. This fin...

Re: Hospital work for an undergrad

From my experience of being an undergrad, getting volunteer work in the NHS is extremely difficult in my area. However, we do have a volunteer co-ordinator for a particular mental health trust and I contacted her which has resulted in me being placed on a waiting list for the past 2 years. Your bes...

Hospital work for an undergrad

I was wondering whether anyone has any work experience in a hospital, for example, in a mental health ward etc. If so, how do I go about looking/approaching for some experience as such?

Research assistant

Sorry if this is a repetitive question or a simple question to answer but I really want to get my head around it. Well.. I've noticed that a few people got experience as a research assistant whilst doing their undergraduate course in psychology.. Now I was wondering whether people could shed some li...
