Re: Leicester Shortlisting 2017

I had to do the Situational one for Salomons, when you logged in first there was a list of universities. You had to tick all the ones that you applied to. Not sure if Leicester has the same system?

Re: Deciding to withdraw from the process

It is tough, but I don't know if it's entirely a BPS thing. Across the world, training to be an applied psychologist is equally tricky and even more expensive in places like the US or Canada, where everything is self funded. Re: Deciding to withdraw from the process

Yeah I agree with Astra, it's not helpful to blindly cheer folks on. I'm guilty of that, and my friends and family are certainly guilty of it! They are trying to be nice but comments like 'They'd be mad not to take you on the course' are sweet but completely unhelpful and unrealistic. It's better to...

I have also applied and haven't heard anything either! :? I think this is the first time they are doing it so maybe they've run into some administration set back?

Re: Verbal and numerical reasoning tests

Thanks for the recommendation. It does make me puzzled about another thing, though - I thought the purpose of selection tests was to level the playing field for people with non-traditional educational backgrounds, so I would expect them to be testing raw ability, not be the sort of test you have to...

I got a book 'How to Pass Advanced Verbal Reasoning Tests' it's helped A LOT! It has practice questions and most importantl...
