Re: Verbal and numerical reasoning tests

RJ Parker, please could I ask another question? Is it correct that if the internet drops out during the test, I will be able to log back in where I started? My home internet can sometimes drop out, and I am worried that I would have to start from scratch or would not be able to complete the test Tha...

Re: Heard anything from Trent/Sheffield/Leeds?

Hi AmyJay,

Most of the unis without selection tests will wait until March time to let people know in my experience, as the deadline for letting us know about interviews is Mid March. I would definitely not get anxious yet!

Cardiff selection test

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has heard back from Cardiff regarding the selection test yet? As we were supposed to be given a window from 6th - 20th of Feb to do the test, I thought they would have let us know before the 6th so getting a little anxious!

Thanks!

Re: Verbal and numerical reasoning tests

Hi RJ Parker, thank you for your reply. I am sure I am just obsessing about the details of the test now, and you might not be able to answer this sorry - but I was wondering, does the test calculate your percentile dependent on the amount of questions you answered correctly, or on the difficulty lev...

Verbal and numerical reasoning tests

Hi all, I was wondering if any of you who have previously taken the SHL tests used at Lancaster have any idea what scores are needed to get an interview? I realise of course that this can change from year to year, but I am really struggling with the numerical reasoning test and I am wondering what a...

Re: Courses with selection tests - no personal statement

Hi RJParker Could I ask if you know whether Cardiff will also have a 2 week window to complete the test? Lancaster are very good at putting up the information early, but I have applied to both Cardiff and Lancaster and as I understand it I would therefore take the test during the earliest window, wh...

Do you know what kind of test they are doing? I wanted to apply to Cardiff, but now I am unsure! Thanks a lot

Re: Re UK referendum

Hi congrats to all EU nationals who already have a place! I am also an EU/EEA national, but I have not yet managed to secure a place, and am now of course very nervous that I will not be allowed to apply again. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about whether we will be able to apply for the NH...

Re: Sheffield 2016

Hi,

sorry if this isn't quite the right place to post, but I was wondering if you had any idea how high a score you need out of 15 to get shortlisted? As in, did "everyone" seem to have 15, or is it possible to get shortlisted with lower scores?

Thanks!

Re: The Great Big Progress Thread for 2016

Just to let you know I popped home for lunch and found an invite to interview letter from Coventry waiting for me (yay! Rejections from everywhere else so had almost given up hope!). Just thought I'd post as someone had mentionned perhaps email invites and letter rejections - looks like both have b...

Re: The Great Big Progress Thread for 2016

Thank you! I have heard that they have done email invites and letter rejections in the past, so I'm assuming if I don't get an email there'll be a rejection letter waiting for me. Waiting for them too yep, so nerve wracking![/quote] No letter here and no e-mail...not sure I can take much more of thi...
