Right now I'm watching blur at Glastonbury on BBC 2. Saw them live last week, for the first time since 1997 when I was 13. Also off to Hyde Park this week to see them.

I blooming love them!

(Mine isn't, but should have been, as my dad's is - we're so not posh which is why he stopped using it barrelled) I read a feminist piece somewhere that suggested sons should take their father's part of the name and daughte...

We liked the idea of having a family name when we got married and decided to have a double-barreled surname. To us it was about us coming together as a couple, each bringing our histories. What if your surname is already double barrelled? A triple barrelled name?! (Mine isn't, but should have been,...

Although I am stressed about starting the course and the demands of it, I also see it as a bit of a relief to be off the merry-go-round of applications - trying to get good/ more experience, considering further study to strengthen application forms etc. I think as an Assistant, you're constantly try...

You can watch the Apprentice on the BBC i player! Did we agree a time? I'm here now but will hang around.

Many thanks for this Miriam - if there's anything I can do for the site, I will be happy to
