Good advice from both, thanks. I probably won't say anything unless directly asked, as an interview for a course in no way guarantees a place - unfortunately. I would hope that the employers would be sympathetic to my predicament, as I imagine it is fairly common at this time of year, where people n...

AP interview while waiting for Doctorate interviews

Hi all, Just wondered if anyone can shed any light on the etiquette of attending interviews for AP posts whilst waiting for doctorate interviews? I have an interview soon, which occurs before my course interview takes place. Is it good manners to let them know I will have a doctorate interview befor...

An Assistant Practioner tends to be a Band 4 NA post - where it seems to differ from a normal NA role in my service is that the Assistant Practitioner work towards further NVQs and may be responsible for medication in the future.

I'd like to add that you shouldn't be afraid to get the police involved if you feel it warrants it - the Trust where I work fully supports staff in doing this. It shouldn't just be viewed as 'part of the job', tho sadly I recognise that it is viewed as that. Good luck with it all.. you might find th...

Abbreviations

Hello, I'm going through application stress (along with many others) and my most recent worry concerns abbreviations.
