Ah, I didn't think of that Miriam. I had a talk with my supervisor and she told me I was doing it write so I'm less stressed out now! I think I didn't explain the experiment too well which is what led to everyone giving different suggestions! I should really try to learn how to explain it more clear...

But if someone could make any sense of the ramblings I made....the right test is to analyse each response seperately. So for example: OLD WORD, ANIMACY TASK, 2 S INTERVAL: # R 14 4 21 3 20 ...

Kez- The output is of one person, not all the results Katyboo - I think that way would not work. Because 1 to 5 is a mixture of forgotten and remembered. So in theory, each person will have the same number of responses because they saw the same number of words (assuming they didn't forget to press t...

Sorry  Okay well the words were presented in 4 blocks. Each block lasted about 8 minutes and then there was a short break in case the person got tired. Two blocks would show words after a 2 second delay, two blocks would show words after a 7 second delay. The words and cues were randomised acr...

Laying this data out in SPSS

Okay, I'm conducting a memory experiment where people were presented with words on a computer. It was an incidental encoding task (they didn't know it was a memory test until I tested them). When they saw the words they either had to make an animacy decsion about the word (i.e. "Living" or "Non Livi...

This isn't a very helpful comment but.......god, I hate that topic! I had to do an essay about it and whatever booked I picked up was always written so poorly and not explained well. I think many people have this problem and it might be down to Moscovici not defining it well [ or possibly altering t...

In response to this wiki post I've often considered whether I should have applied for medicine instead of psychology, so that I could specialise in psychiatry. But recently this has stopped as I've realised the difference between the two. I'm doing my masters at the moment and I've just got a honora...

To be honest, I quite like his shows and his performances. I did think the car accident episode pushed it too far and was out of order, but I have like all the other stuff and his other shows. What I don't like is him claiming that it's not tricks. I've actually got something that explains some of h...

Hi.
I'm posting this on behalf of a friend who doesn't have the net

She's got a interview for MSc Health at UCL/KCL, and was just wondering what is the interview like and what sort of things they ask you about?
