Re: Progress thread for Clinical Psychology applications 201

Hi everyone, I have been offered and accepted a place at Bath (still can't quite believe it!) so if anyone has done the same please let me know! Best of luck to those with interviews coming up :) xx After a fair bit of agonising and some down-to-business conversations with family over the bank holi...

Re: Asking questions at interview...

there is so much information online about the clinical courses I find myself thinking up questions that I already really know the answer too. Does it look bad if you don't have questions at the end of an interview? I think it looks worse if you ask a question that you could easily have answered for...

Re: Opinions on the IAPT scheme?

It sounds like a great course. However, one thing that occurs to me is that it won't help the issue of the sustainability of the PWP role, except that services will not have to pay so much to train them. Re: bristol (now bath) course

Well, clearly I would intend to make life-altering decisions on the basis of others' opinions of a hypothetical situation, Cone. That kind of smart thinking has got me where I am today  ! I merely thought it would be interesting to hear some views on this (especially from anyone who knows more...

Re: Application form - Person Spec points...?

I would agree with Peach. The first 3 of those 4 key points you would not need to write about explicitly in the supporting statement. Your qualifications and work experience are listed elsewhere on the application, and they will assess your written communication skills based on what you've written! ...
