Re: 5 things I'm thinking today. . .

1. Doing this CBP course is such a roller-coaster! One minute I am panicking because I have no idea what I am doing and the next, I think I'm ok before going back to having a meltdown all over again! 2. Consequently, I am not sleeping well which isn't helping matters. I am also cold. Damn weather. 3...

Re: Hi IAPT application after two years AP work?

I know people that have successfully got an IAPT high intensity trainee post that don't have a core profession and their previous experience includes being an assistant psychologist. As long as you have enough experience/qualifications to meet the KSA criteria, you should be fine to apply however, i...

1. Being home has made me feel whole again. The saying 'there is no place like home' has never resonated with me more than it has this weekend. I have been able to find some head space, organize my thoughts/feelings and just been able to breathe which has been for me for most part of this year. 2. W...

I agree. I'm not aware of NHS funded places for the course that come without a service/placement attached unless this is something new?

1. Feeling fragile after a 5 day weekend of festivals and carnival. Urgh. 2. So many bruises! How?! I didn't fall, have a fight or anything that would warrant them :( 3. The realization that something intense happened, time has moved on and my life has not stopped. Even though I know it is going to ...

Re: 'PWP Apprentice'

There was talk in our service of employing band 4 'assistant pwps' not so long ago - is that what you mean? There was a pilot a couple of years ago from which someone did progress on to qualifying but unsure if this is happening again.

1. A week today. It feels so surreal still but like it has also been longer. I still have the thoughts and anxieties that he may just turn up at my door but I keep bringing myself back to the fact he made that decision. I, as a result have blocked his number and all possible social media contact. I ...

1. Very grateful this week is over! Work has been something to behold, gosh sometimes I don't know if IAPT is coming or going. The only thing keeping my faith in my job is the fact that at my management are supportive. 2. It ended. Though I knew it was going to, it still hurt. Like really hurt. It's...

Re: 5 things I'm thinking today. . .

1. With Ramadan over, I have realised that I am more tolerant of people with caffeine as opposed to without. Having said that, my patience is really being tested by a certain someone in my life who refuses to let me burn a bridge that leads to nowhere. I don't understand people which is ironic given...

Not that I've heard - I'm currently shortlisting for Sep entry and in the process of finishing the job ad for Jan 2017 entry so I wouldn't panic just yet.

Re: Trainee PWP Sheffield IAPT

Hi Nomnom, I have been given a conditional offer from an NHS Trust near Sheffield. In order to secure the role I need to have an interview with The University of Sheffield on Wednesday 1st June. Could I ask if this was the same process that you went through (a two stage process) and if so what was ...
