Call for participants - exploring experiences of weight stigma in people with a higher weight

Post by picklepepper »

Do other people or things in your life often make you feel bad about your weight?

If you are an adult affected by a higher body weight (BMI of 30 plus) then we would love to hear from you.

The study involves:
* completing some initial baseline questionnaires and then completing a brief survey a few times a day in a 2 week period
* reporting on weight stigma and stressful events in the course of your everyday life
* the brief survey will take approximately 5 mins each time you complete it
* downloading a free app to your phone to complete the brief surveys
* one short questionnaire at the end

For more information about the study and to check eligibility please click: https://leeds.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/scree ... ent-form-b

You can also email me about the study with any questions at umcpi@leeds.ac.uk

I am training at the University of Leeds and have ethical approval which includes approval to recruit via social media.

Could you also give us your name and the name of your supervisor, as requested in the guidance for recruiting from this site?
