Where can I get large data sets for download?

Ask here about academic and research issues, like designing studies, recruiting participants, choosing statistics, submitting for publication, etc.

Where can I get large data sets for download?

Post by DrFurbs » Tue May 03, 2011 6:50 pm

Hi, I looking for a repository (UK, US, EU) where there are large psychiatric data sets or surveys for public use. I have the NCS and the Nemesis but neither has the variables I'm interested in. I'm wondering if any one knows of a resource on-line I can tap into to.

thanks in advance.

Perhaps try some of the government repositories? They might be more general but can be helpful for population level data. (www.statistics.gov.uk/default)
