5 things I'm thinking today. . .
Re: 5 things I'm thinking today. . .
1. Thought moving out would be easy. Didn't really know what it'd feel like when I got there.
2. Doesn't want to wait a week before starting work, but maybe I'll get more used to this place in that time.
3. Forgot how dreadful Ikea is when you only need one or two things, that happen to be right at the end of the gauntlet they have you run.
4. Is thinking how nice it'll be to settle down at some point. Maybe that's the next thing on my big list.
5. Is actually happy that he's living in a nice and green area of London. Lots of trees and open grassland makes it feel more homely.

1. I cannot be doing with such varying weather, wardrobes have been swapped over and there's no going back!
2. Feeling guilty about feeling glad that everyone else is back at work today, its not their fault I am bitter about not being able to join in the jubilee fun..
3. MSc research project meltdown has commenced...must.keep.it.together.
4. Worked out that I have contacted over 100 qualified CPs to take part in said project, 1 reply is
5. Oscillating between `should have started earlier` and `don't be so harsh on yourself, MSc workload, part time work and life in general did not permit`!
(6) Can I get away with hoping that there are some trainees/qualifieds reading this that have been in this position and feel sorry for me...?! viewtopic.php?f=11&t=13910

I am still happy to participate in your project - I haven't heard anything from you since our initial email contact a few weeks agoNat89 wrote:(6) Can I get away with hoping that there are some trainees/qualifieds reading this that have been in this position and feel sorry for me...?! viewtopic.php?f=11&t=13910

1. I really hope the reserve list moves for a friend - and for any other reserve listers (including Gilly!), it must be a painful wait...
2. Had a great weekend - lots of Pimms, BBQ food and time with friends
3. Library time just isn't cutting it in comparison
4. Snore
5. Is it the weekend yet?

1- as soon as I have a week off the weather is rubbish! typical
2- interview later for a similar job to what i'm doing now, but more money & easier to get to
3- said interview is in a cafe, how are you supposed to recognise the person there to interview you in a cafe full of people?!
4- unsure whether leaving my current job is a good idea, it's excellent experience & i've only been there since end of march
5- some excellent half term plans later this week

Re: 5 things I'm thinking today. . .
1. What were my multivitamins doing in the fridge?
2. Found the kitchen scales in there the other day too...
3. Either a) someone is breaking in and playing a particularly pointless joke on me by refrigerating random items, b) said random items are coming to life and refrigerating themselves
, or c) I need more sleep.
4. How much money does the NHS spend on CRB checks? This will be my 4th in less than 5 years! Surely one conducted 9 months ago by another Trust should be transferable?

1-4: These thoughts donated to Gilly, who may use them to hope for world peace, or a place at UEA, whichever he feels is more pressing
5. Thinking about a poster who's in my thoughts at the moment, and wishing all good wishes for them.

1. Had a great day in London yesterday.
2. Really should stop worrying about the future as it will happen one day.
3. Glad I'm not working today as it's been nice to have the day to myself even if I haven't done anything but feed my addiction for this website.
4. Really hope that one day I can contribute to this website and inspire others like those who have inspired me.
5. Gotta love watching Come Dine With Me and wonder how people can go on that show

1. Come on UEA!
2. Come on Surrey! (I know you're not likely to move 7 places, but a girl can dream!)
3. Very excited about the job I just applied for
4. I'm so pleased my reading mojo seems to have come back - 3 books read in less than a week and a fourth one started
(I think the long weekend definitely helped with this though!)
5. Hm, I wish this cheesecake was a little less dense
