Useful research linking to practice

Post by IdaBauer » Mon Oct 29, 2018 8:40 pm

I’m really interested in the link between research findings and practice (it was the topic of my undergraduate thesis and is now at the forefront on my mind, as I’m thinking about potential postgraduate thesis topics) - would people be willing to list a few studies which they have found personally useful in informing the way they practice?

I think the ACEs studies have changed the way everyone thinks about the impact of trauma and child abuse. I know they have thrown new light on what I do. Likewise the neuro studies that show the impact of trauma on the brain.
