Hi everyone,
I am Robert from Germany. I am about to finish my Master's studies this summer. I was playing with the idea of studying in the UK in the field of Psychology (PhD).
I have a few questions about the UK PhD system:
1. In Germany studying at the university is free, from my understanding this is not the case in the UK, even for PhD's, right?
2. In Germany a PhD is mostly funded through projects and the salary is mainly based on TVL13 or some percentage of that. So basically you can cover the cost of living and maybe save some money as well. How a PhD is funded in the UK? If yes, Does it covers the cost of living?
