Salomons

Plymouth
Bath

Completed the Plymouth online assessments last night and ran out of time on the numerical reasoning test with one question still to go, which doesn't bode well I guess :|

Thanks, I weirdly wasn't so bothered at first but the upset is sinking in now. My gut feeling was to apply elsewhere this year (2 previous rejections from UCL) but Iwas persuaded to give it a go, and now regretting my decision!!

Wait to hear back from the other three is going to be extra nerve-wracking now!!

First time applying

Surrey :D
UCL :(
IOPPN
Royal Holloway

Kinda expected it from UCL but can't say I'm not disappointed as in an ideal world where I got 4 offers, think it would've been my first choice :(

Hi Sushiroll

Can't say what they are doing this year but last year UCL sent all nos out by email one day and the yeses (word?) got a letter the next day. So, hopefully all of you frantically refreshing your inboxes may be one of the lucky ones. However what I would say (and not saying this to be a downer - just because it was so disappointing for me last year...) is that they also send out reserve interviews this way. You basically get the no letter with a 'but'. Given there were 30 reserves last year and the list only moved to I think 4 it is kind of a no if you are in the mid to lower regions of that 30. Again, not wanting to be a downer but it was SO hard for me last year to realize all the nos had come in, to get my hopes of a yes and then find myself outside the top 5 reserve places. Nice to know you were close but also bitterly disappointing in another to get so close yet so far.

Fingers crossed that you are not in the 'no, but' category!

Thank you for replying and I appreciate your realistic answer about reserves! Hugs to reds so far and hang in there to those that are waiting!

By any chance, does anyone have a rough idea of when Liverpool and/or Leeds usually let people know, based on previous years? I'm a first timer so nothing to go on!

Thanks in advance.
