Hey all, I also am joining the UCL reds. Haha.

I remember doing the maths based on the number of places there were, I think there was 1 in 26 chance of getting a place there (obviously not factoring in you have 3 other options). So I don't feel too bad, I don't think others should. Especially since a few of the UCL reds got interview offers other places. Good luck all. :)

Got it, thanks! Might stop checking my emails every 5 minutes then, looks more likely to be next week....

First time applying:

after not so nice experiences with psychometric tests I wasn't feeling all that optimistic but held out a little hope for UCL since tests weren't part of their selection procedure; therefore this stings a little

UCL
UEL
Plymouth
Royal Holloway

I think my other 3 are going to make us wait till March 11th too huh?

As disappointing as it will be to (probably) get all NOs this year I kinda feeling like I'm trying my luck anyway, with only a BSc and 18 months in the field (only 6 of which is within the NHS). For the past fortnight I've been considering a MSc so I kind of have a ~back up~ rather than feeling I can't move forward yet.

Congrats to all the greens, and reds - I feel you x

I'm joining the UCL reds. Commiserations to you who also are, and congratulations to the greens!

I was expecting the 'No' really. They were my wildcard application. I'm not very keen to live in London, and I knew they wouldn't be delighted that I didn't have any experience in the NHS. Still stings a touch though!

So, I'm:

UEA
UCL
Oxford
Edinburgh

onwards and upwards with any luck!

After being interviewed at UCL last time I applied I am sad to report:

UCL
Oxford
IoPPN
Royal Holloway

Not holding out much hope for the other 3 now but it can be a very unpredictable process so we shall see! Hoping to hear from at least Oxford this week. Congratulations to all the greens so far! Good luck to everyone...we're all in this together! :D

Here's hoping that reserve list moves. Bath is my top choice!

Just received an email.

Not convinced the list will move much, but here's hoping it does and that I'm near the top of the list. Eeeek. Will be a bit of a mad dash across country to get to Bath from London, but should it come to it I'll run there if I have to.

What an emotional roller coaster this process is! Just when despair followed from my first red I get a green so want to encourage all those still waiting not to give up hope. God luck everyone :o)

Don't suppose you'd take a bribe for that interview place. ;)
