The Great Big Progress Thread for 2016

I would say I'm getting fairly used to this process, but this suspense is ridiculous. I think maybe application response schedule will become a selection criteria for picking courses next year :P
I'm in the same boat and completely agree! More or less, 48 hours for 3 decisions!

Re. The boxes last year their was a great discussion around it but I think in the end it meant nothing as some peoples box disappeared and they got an interview and some boxes disappeared and they didn't.

After refreshing my emails all day hoping to hear from Cardiff, just heard back from Glasgow instead :)

Manchester
Glasgow
Edinburgh
Cardiff

Wasn't expecting an interview after an initial red. Very pleasantly surprised!

Does anyone know if UEL let people know by letter or email? I'm still waiting to hear, and if it's by post at least I know I can save my re-fresh finger and just wait for the post to arrive tomorrow. Well, wait until I can get back from work to open the post tomorrow.

Slightly wishing I'd done what some of you have and booked a day off!

Salomon's
Surrey*

Essex
Coventry & Warwick
(* application not considered)

It was exciting at first, then tense. Now I'm just bored and fed up. Don't know how others who have yet to hear from more universities than I do can handle the uncertainty.

Still waiting for 3, I'm feeling more hopeful and less anxious than last year. Possibly because I'm 4 months into a new post and that gives me focus during working hours. As an older career changer with financial responsibility to children I'm not sure what plan B is once my AP contract ends.....

Exeter
Cardiff
Hertfordshire
Coventry & Warwickshire

Good luck to all those still waiting to the bitter (or sweet) end :D
