I haven't heard from any of mine yet (Oxford, Southampton, Birmingham and Royal Holloway). I'm very glad I've been extremely busy on a training course at work doing more hours than usual. Add that to mobiles being banned in work, and obsessing has been limited. I am longing to know now though.

Staffordshire
Lancaster
Teeside
Edinburgh

All reds so far unfortunately. Second time applying after five year gap. In my early 40's and will not be applying again if Edinbugh is less than positive. I need to be realistic.

Best of luck for those still waiting to here.

Second time applying:
Glasgow
Edinburgh
Teesside
Newcastle

I'm expecting three more rejections tomorrow... does anyone know if Teesside are sending responses by post or email? Loads of people seem to have heard from them, but i haven't heard anything yet...

Third time applying one previous interview

ROYAL HOLLOWAY
SALOMONS
UCL
ESSEX

Clinical psychology short-listing anxiety

They encourage you to apply apply apply
But then your application they pass it by
They tell you there's been too much competition
And your left thinking… yh but why didn't I get in?
I have a first in psychology and a masters too
How much more can I acquire to show and prove?
Is this my life now year after year?
Endless ‘unfortunately we can't offer you an interview here’
The process is unfair some would have you believe
I never really thought that, but am I being naïve?

It's OK though
Not everyone said no
This year I applied to a course that said yes
They invited me for an interview after the test
Last night I had a dream about that exam, could it be a sign?
Oh clinical psychology place please be mine
I'll charm you with my wit and my psychological knowledge,
Well I better! I'm taking a week off to revise for it
I've heard good things about this course, and don't tell the other three
That's secretly where I wanted to go but will they have a place for me?

Starfish57 to answer your question - I received an email from Teeside today, with rejection.

Good luck with yours :)

Hi everyone!

I'm new to posting and I was just wondering if anyone else has had a rejection and then an interview email from the same uni within about half an hour? I got these two emails from Glasgow yesterday right at the end of the day. I'll be ringing them but I just wanted to see if anyone else has had this and was the outcome positive?
Anyway here are my results so far for my other choices

Manchester
Glasgow?????
Edinburgh
Newcastle

Hi Craftylady, there was someone else who had both a rejection and offer of interview with Bath, when they called they'd been successful to interview! Fingers crossed you have the same experience...

Still waiting to hear from:

Plymouth
Coventry and Warwick

11th application and from those 4 interviews, I managed to get on the reserve list for Plymouth last year.....

Good luck everyone still waiting, whilst we don't know it's still a 50/50 yes 8)

The same thing happened to me as well, crafty :bom: I'll be ringing them in a few hours.

EDIT: I've spoken to them now, the second email was correct :)
