Is it just me or are responses later than usual this year? I was expecting at least a couple today!

Weather problems, perhaps?

My applications this year:

Trent
IoPPN
Sheffield
Lancaster

Woohoo, another fun year of applications. :D
Didn't get offered to the Trent tests which I thought was a shame, and I'm not expecting an interview at Sheffield as they ask for a high 2:1 which I don't have, just thought I would apply for it as they said they might consider me with a good academic reference and I'm enjoying doing my masters here.
This will be my third time applying for Lancaster but I just can't resist! It has to be my favourite course in terms of there values, so I will keep applying even if it is so darn far away. I did the apptitude tests this morning and felt like I did worse than previous years. They're designed to get harder the better you do, so it's normally a good sign if you struggle with uit, but I swear the questions were getting easier and easier! :?

Hope people are doing ok and I wish everyone the best of luck!

Hi guys, just a quick query.
In my clearing house account, the Manchester course drop down window for "options" ha disappeared. Does that men I've been unsuccessful?

Thanks

I imagine so, it should say application unsuccessful then there’ll be no option - that’s how mine for Leicester appears

That's odd. I got a rejection email from Nottingham but the option on the application didn't change. I looked back through this forum and someone contacted the uni with this enquiry. The uni's resp was that they were currently screening applications so they removed any option for you to withdraw. I can't say this for certain though.

So your status is still ‘application released to course centre’? That is odd :?

Hey guys, my drop down box for Manchester has disappeared too. Advice from last year was not to read too much into it either way; I think it just shows that they're preparing to release their responses soon.

My progress so far:

2017
Liverpool > Liverpool
Teeside > Teeside > Teeside
Leeds
UEA

2018
Liverpool
Leeds
Manchester
Teeside

Good luck all! :)

Seems to be a general consensus that the box disappearing doesn't mean anything... from what I can see someone back in 2016 had the withdraw option remove with no status update and had an interview. But who knows what the process is now! My withdraw option has disappeared for Manchester as well. Aggggh. Good luck everyone.

Hello all!

RE: box disappearance, Manchester

I think it is a sign that we will get a response soon; my box has also vanished! Fingers crossed, I think they have previously responded via e-mail, hopefully we will all know come Monday :D

Hi all,

Just for balance, I have applied to Manchester too and can say that on my clearing house the box has not disappeared for me.
