Recommendations for Text Books

Post by Newuser12 » Sat Nov 16, 2019 12:10 pm

Hi all,

Sorry if this has been posted before! I am applying to both Surrey and Salomons and am preparing for the exams. Does anyone have any good recommendations for text books to use for both the written and statistical exam?

Any suggestions would be welcomed!

Thank you :)

For the quantitative stats I used Andy Field’s books, primarily “how to design and report experiments” with further detail from his SPSS book where needed. For qualitative I like “doing qualitative research in psychology” Ed. Sullivan and Foster (I think). All combined with notes from my masters.
Hope that is helpful and best of luck!
