First time applying:

Manchester (sat test)
Exeter (sat rest)
Oxford
King's College London
As a first time applicant I am sooo happy to get an interview, however I am extremely scared. I read in the email what the interview involves and I am dreading it right now 👀

2nd time applying! Wasn't invited to interview anywhere last year but only had a few months of RA experience when I submitted my application - working as an AP now so hoping for a bit more progress this year..

UCL
Royal Holloway
IoPPN
Oxford

This process is absolutely brutal, told myself I would stay positive but two generic rejections on one day feels rubbish.

Hello! Third time applicant here. Currently waiting to hear back from my final application (to Glasgow), but as it stands:

GLASGOW
KCL
LANCASTER
LEICESTER (but completed screening test)

So happy to have got an interview, just hoping that I can put all the experience and feedback I've had since my last outing to good use!

Good luck everyone - you're all amazing :)

Hi

It's my first time applying as a "trial run" as others said!

Holloway
IOPPN
Oxford
UCL
It's looking like it wasn't meant to be this year! We will see :)

Its great how Exeter let you know of your scores in the GMA tests, I'd be interested to know the threshold of scores for those who were successful to be invited for interview!

So I managed to get an Exeter interview scoring:

87% verbal
50% deductive reasoning
69% mean

I must say I was quite surprised for the interview, given how awfully the deductive reasoning went.

I applied twice a few years back. I got interview at Plymouth first time - no offer obviously. I got reserve list for Plymouth, Exeter and Cardiff the second time, but no interview.

This year I have applied for:
Bath
Cardiff (done test)
Plymouth (done test)
Exeter (done test)

Pretty sure I flunked the deductive reasoning test as I didn't have time to finish all the questions. I hope it doesn't count for much!
Yikes. I did VERY poorly in the deductive reasoning...

Yeah I don’t see an issue with that - didn’t realise you could private message on clinpsy though!

I haven't heard back yet from the universities I have applied to but I can understand how you feel. I know it's easier said than done, but stay optimistic and take care of yourself regardless of the results. I hope you get some good news soon :)
