Hi All

First time applicant here. I'm fascinated and overwhelmed by this (incredibly long and complex) application process.... let's all hang on in there

Edinburgh (test + questions done)
Glasgow
Lancaster (tests done)
Trent (invited to written test day)
A healthy dollop of "Well done!!!" and "Commiserations" to all!
And to those in a similar position to me who are yet to hear back from most courses - I cannot believe how much endurance is required for this process! - the wait is excruciating!!! I think I applied to all the courses that leave it until the last day to get in touch......
I'm also a Glasgow and Edinburgh applicant and I'm concerned about developing repetitive strain injury from constantly refreshing my emails. Dreading another week of this but the end is in sight! Good luck to all those still waiting for news 🤞

Hello All,

This is my second time applying.

I have a BSc Hons in Psychological Studies (2:1), an MSc in Psychology (Merit), 14 months experience working as a Complex Needs Support Worker and 12 months as an Assistant Psychologist (6 months CMHT & 6 months ABI - still ongoing). I was fortunate enough to have my MSc research project published recently, which was very exciting, albeit a rather arduous process but worth it in the end.

Prior to this I had a reasonably successful career for 15 years in digital advertising.

I have applied to:

Bath
Birmingham
Coventry & Warwick
IoPPN

I wish you all every success and hope to see some of you in September.

God Bless. It is in His hands now.

C.
First response of the campaign is a No but I still have three more chances of a Yes.

Second year applying, aged 31, two interviews last year at UCL and RHUL, reserve list for a place on the course at RHUL but wasn't successful.

This year...
Essex
UEL
UCL
RHUL

Disappointed that I didn't get the UCL interview this year, very much one of my preferred courses but very happy and excited about Essex!

It was good that UCL emailed instead of sending the letters by post this year, much more accessible I felt, even if it was bad news in the morning. At least the weekend is in sight to recoup!
Got all my responses now;
Essex
UEL
UCL
RHUL (52/60 reserve)

Good luck to everyone for their upcoming interviews and any further announcements.

Wasn't going to post this then I realised how much I've lurked the forum and how helpful it was to see these posts before applying! Nonetheless, all the best for those waiting for responses and those who aren't, we all have something unique to offer I'm sure :)

Thanks for posting this. I had the exact experience last year and refrained from being open about it on this board (I think avoidance was my coping strategy). But it is a really kind thing to do.

Was feeling very disappointed by this outcome, but it's nice to see that I'm not alone on this forum and am starting to feel more positive that things will get better next year!
Congratulations to everyone who have gained interviews.
