Well that’s that. Not sure I’m putting myself through this process again. We’ll see!
Hmm I guess I should say it turned out I was on the reserve list for Surrey and got an interview in the end!

Congratulations to all those with offers!

I assumed all unis were doing id checks too. Sad people have been cheating.

As a course interviewer, we checked photo ID in our interviews. Although some candidates may choose to cheat, this is harder than you think (if it is the candidate). Firstly, it is obvious to the interviewer if the person is looking away from the camera and I did ask someone whether they had notes and to put them away if so. Secondly, notes and someone in the room does necessarily convey advantages as it may not be tailored to the question and can make the person look distracted. In addition, many questions in course interviews are reflective about yourselves or your experiences, which I would argue is in the qualities of the person. In fact, pre-prepared answers are apparent as they shoe-horn them in a different question and don't perform well as a result.

Well done! Whilst observing the Sheffield news coming through, I'm curious about how long people waited post interview to receive an offer?

Have people started hearing back from any of the London based courses yet? Haven’t seen much on here from any of these yet?

Hi, congratulations to anyone who has been offered an interview or place for 2020. It seems to be taking people quite a while to hear back after interviews this year (understandably). I haven't seen much on the board following Plymouth outcomes either - I'd love to see people's progress and thoughts on that.

Hertfordshire
Plymouth
Staffordshire
Lancaster

Take care all :)

Hello!
I hope everyone is looking after themselves during this period.

I was wondering if anyone has received any updates from Salomons - interview outcome? And does anyone know if they will send an e-mail or call us to deliver the outcome?

They hope to let us know by Wednesday 13th May at the latest and this will be via email. I hope you are managing the wait better than I am! Good luck :)

Haha I’m trying so hard to keep my mind off it but it’s so hard!
Thank you! At least I know roughly when I’ll hear back. :)
Good luck to you too!

Hi everyone,

First timer here - It’s nice to see others doing a trial run as well and getting as eagerly invested as I am (even though I said It wouldn’t matter first time round!)

Cardiff
Salomons
IoPPN
Trent
I am completely dumbfounded that I have been offered a place! I am also filled with admiration for those whose applications are not their first. It's an exhausting process and it takes resilience and dedication even the first time around. I wish everyone waiting for interviews and results the best of luck over the next few weeks!!

This is my second year applying, last year I was on the interview reserve list for Leeds and Edinburgh but unfortunately did not receive a call to interview.

This year I'm incredibly excited to say:
Lancaster (sat test)
Leeds
Edinburgh (done extra questions)
Trent (sat test) > Trent (7th reserve)

EEEEEEEEEEKKKKK!!!!!
Updating as I've just heard from Trent. Feeling shocked to be honest, I felt like I didn't prep enough and that I'd fumbled a few of the answers, so was fully expecting an outright rejection! Still have interviews at Edinburgh and Lancaster to go and this has actually given me more confidence for those!
