UEA / University of East Anglia Interview
I’ve been fortunate enough to be offered an interview at UEA.
I wondered if anyone could provide me with any advice specific for the interviews at UEA?
Also, I know you cannot share specific questions, but does anyone know if they ask about NHS issues/policies? I’m not too privy to them and wondered how much I would need to know.
Thanks in advance!

While you may not be asking for specific questions, you are asking for specific info about the interview, e.g. will they ask about X. This is against forum rules.
Regardless, I would recommend doing some reading round NHS policies and issues. You've got an interview for a three year employment contract with an organisation - it's reasonable to assume you'll benefit from learning about that organisation before interview.
Good luck with the interview!

Thank you for the reply Ell!
Could you advise me on how well I should know the policies? I have an awareness of the long term plan but I’m just uncertain how much detail I’ll need to know. Are there any other documents/policies you would recommend looking into?
I would greatly appreciate the advice!

... what's the long term plan?
I don't really know offhand what policies or documents would be useful. I'm a dementia specialist, so I could tell you about what's relevant there, but I'm not sure that would be hugely useful. Looking at the government website and taking a look at the most recent documents relating to mental health might be a start? As to what level of detail you'll need, who knows. Just take on board what you can manage to without overloading yourself or losing track of other important stuff like reflective practice and research methods and why you want to do clinical psychology anyway.

You do realise that this is an attempt to undermine the fair selection procedure by asking for information that is not in the public domain, and that members of many courses read the forum? So they will see you asking for this information...PeterJames1357 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2020 2:44 pmI’ve been fortunate enough to be offered an interview at UEA.
