My academic reference somehow didn't make it, even though it was sent in October! :(

I have til 25th Jan to get it to them but that's quite a short space of time really! Argh, panic!

They can fax the reference! That would be faster.

I haven't received a references received letter *or* a reminder letter! Can anyone let me know what the reminder letter says?

Looks like the CH is sailing a bit close to the wind this year!

They didn't receive one of my references. Time to do some chasing! I hope this doesn't effect my chances as my application will now be one of the last to be seen by the selectors

I have not had either a references recieved or reminder letter - I am trying to think positive and imagine it may have been delayed due to snow - going more crazy as i can'd do anything till tomorrow so i am constantly playing over various senarios in my mind :(

Hopefully we'll be able to burst into action tomorrow, littlebobby! :) No point worrying until then.

Got a letter saying they'd received both, but that one of them (the faxed one) wasn't "readable". argh.

Hmmm!!!

Bizarre.. they really have left it quite late to let people know, especially those that haven't heard either way yet. Coupled with a very short deadline, it's all a little bit frustrating really!

Rainbow-rano same for me, one of my references that was faxed wasn't readable. I am asking my referee to send it by registered post today. I'm really annoyed as I sent my form off early this year and both my referree and clearing house wait until the deadline GRRR
