I'm sure all unis in london have sent out emails about this but just in case....

Looks like an amazing opportunity! Deadline is the 13th- let me know if anyone hears anything more about this :)

I applied for this. I was really pleased with my detective skills in tracking down this opportunity but then my uni sent an email out to all 2nd years the day after I applied!

I've been told interviews will be in December to start in January in case anyone is interested.

I got an interview! I'm terrified. I really don't know that much about neuroscience and I have no idea what to expect from the interview, all I know is it is 20 mins long. Any advice?

Congratulations! Is your interview on Friday morning?
My plan is to re-read my application, read a bit more about the centre's research and find some suitable clothes. Other than that I have no idea what to do.

My phone cut out when they rang me so I had to ring back and I have the flu so I dread to think what impression I have given so far!

Have you got any idea how many people they are interviewing?

Well done to you!

Its Friday afternoon- yeah I guess I'm just going to look over my form and think of more examples to demonstrate what the said they were looking for... have a look at their research and generally brush up on research methods/developmental stuff.

Im not sure how much they can ask in 20mins really so I'm assuming they are just looking to find people who will fit in their team rather than having any extensive knowledge (i hope anyway  )

Good luck!

Hope your interview went well. Mine wasn't so good...couldn't think of examples that were psychology related and didn't eloborate at all. Oh well, that's life!

I'm just so annoyed with myself. It is a learning experience and I will remember to think before I answer in future! I just keep telling myself that it is a bit committment so if I'm unsuccessful I will have far more free time. I guess we will know soon anyway.

Me neither. Oh well, it isn't the end of the world. There will be other opportunities. Guess it is a learning experience and all that.
