No, I agree. How anyone is supposed to do a full time job for free and still be able to live is beyond me especially in London. you would have to either have a rich benefactor or superhuman powers to work nights and weekends to make up the shortfall. I guess the most likely thing is they'll get 2 people job sharing and then I guess you make up the hours with care work, shop work, bar work or whatever you can get, but that's going to mean a really low income or a lot of hours as they are low paid jobs too. Not fair. and don't even get me started on the cost of childcare. i was already a parent at that stage of my career and had to earn at least enough to pay for the childcare so I could even go to work.
They've been reported to the relevant people so something is being done about it.

I'm so glad this has reported. I don't understand how anybody could think that someone would be able to work a full time job voluntarily! It will be interesting to find out what the outcome is as I note that the job has been removed(?) from NHS Jobs.

Three Social Milleu and Reintegration Therapists (SMART facilitators) vacancies in York. Sounds interesting - applicants would be taught to deliver DBT and Therapeutic Community Groups, and would be working with men with Personality Disorders.

Essentially an Assistant Psychologist job in Grimsby, but titled 'clinical psychology assistant practitioner' so it doesn't show up in the usual AP searches

I was just about to post that, Moonbeam :) I've found one through the careerbuilder site but your link goes right to the search engine and I've found two more AP posts recently listed.
I am linking here to them. They look like great opportunities both full-time and part-time for someone interested in working with the population.
