Full time - fixed term, 1 year
35 Hours per week

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated psychology graduate with an interest in neuropsychology and rehabilitation to join our neurobehavioural residential brain injury rehabilitation programme. As part of a multi-disciplinary team and one of two Assistant Psychologists, you will be responsible for establishing good rapport with service users and their families, supporting the three psychologists with clinical interventions, establishing reliable data collection programmes, analysing behavioural data, the reporting of behavioural data and other clinical observations to the clinical team, neuropsychological assessment, and writing reports. You will be supervised by a clinical psychologist. Interpersonal skills and writing skills are essential, as is a creative mind and being an effective problem solver and team player. The role is ideal for those wishing to apply to clinical psychology doctoral training.

Fen House is a specialist residential brain injury rehabilitation unit situated in Ely, Cambridgeshire, offering social and neurobehavioural rehabilitation to 25 service users with an acquired brain injury. BIRT is a division of the Disabilities Trust, one of the UK’s leading national charities which provides services to people with physical impairments, autism, learning disabilities and brain injury.
