1 Year Fixed Term Contract

We are recruiting an Assistant Psychologist at Thomas Edward Mitton House, which provides residential rehabilitation for adults with an acquired brain injury. The programme operates a neurobehavioural model with an emphasis on social rehabilitation. The post involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team, under the supervision of clinical psychologists.

Key roles include analysis of behavioural recordings and data, compiling the clinical programming, and participating in clinical activities such as structured behavioural assessments, running groups and specific psychological interventions (under the supervision of a clinical psychologist).

Experience of working with people with acquired brain injury and/or challenging behaviour would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will need to have excellent interpersonal and team working skills, to be familiar with Excel spread sheets, be able to manage his/her own time and to be self-motivated and flexible. Travel will be required in this role.

Please note:
As we are expecting a large number of applicants for this post, the application process will be closed once we have received the first 50 applications.

We will be in touch by 1st September to inform you of whether or not you have been shortlisted for an interview.
