Care Workers and Psychology Graduate Care Workers

Post by KeysChildcare » Tue Apr 07, 2015 1:26 am

The Keys Group, one of the largest providers of children’s residential care placements, are now recruiting for a number of exciting positions within our care homes across the UK.

Keys Childcare Group have vacancies for care staff at several children's homes, schools and 16+ services across their national portfolio. As part of a recent commitment to a psychologically informed model of care and the appointment of our new Clinical Director/Consultant Clinical Psychologist, we particularly wish to recruit staff who are psychology students or graduates as part of our care teams. We have agreed an uplift in pay for where staff have completed a psychology degree, but we also have vacancies suitable for those studying a psychology degree or conversion. Part-time and bank work is also available. No experience is necessary, just a commitment to providing high quality care to those who live in our homes.

Most of our homes care for 1-4 children who have experienced maltreatment and can no longer live with their family of origin. We have some homes with a specialist interest in younger children with significant attachment problems, and some with a particular interest in risk of sexual exploitation or young people who may present a sexual risk to others, but a lot of our residents are teenagers who have challenged previous placements through their behaviour.

I now have time within Keys. We have vacancies in the therapeutic homes, and linked to the roll out of the Clinical Psychology project within Keys (with 4 Clinical Psychologists appointed so far), so these jobs would be fantastic experience for psychology graduates.
