Applied Behaviour Analysis job role B'ham, Leic, Notts

Post by ABA »

Do you want a flexible job? A job that continuously enhances your skills? A job that provides you with a level of independence and real job satisfaction?

ABATutorship can provide this and lots more.

The job role involves applying the theory of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) to therapy which is provided to children with Autism around Leicester, Nottingham and the West Midlands, including Birmingham, Warwickshire, Dudley, Walsall, Wolverhampton and more.
The therapy is based on the theory of operant conditioning to teach children a variety of skills such as cognitive skills, language skills, self-help skills etc. It works on the principles of reinforcement by reinforcing wanted behaviours to encourage the behaviours to be repeated. The therapy breaks these goals into small steps which the child completes with the help of a team of tutors and a consultant.

The role involves 1:1 work within a small team which meet once every month. You will help a child gain skills and also gain experience with recording data, enhancing your communication skills, and gain a lot of experience working with children with Autism.

The job is flexible to your needs, such as the days you wish to work and hours. The job also has career prospects for those who show great potential.
Candidates must have a friendly fun personality, drivers are preferred but not essential but you must be willing to travel. WE are looking for candidates who are able to use their initiative and enjoying working with children. The job requires a high amount of energy and enthusiasm to ensure the children stay motivated.

The pay starts at £7 -10 dependant on previous ABA experience and level of qualifications. The pay will increase as your experience increases and there is potential to be earning £12-£14/hr.

Attendance is required for all three dates
TRAINING DAY - 16th July

Please contact with covering letter and CV.

Thank you
